Ok, so I have read, saw and had it confirmed to me that you can use a laptop as a second monitor/display in a dual monitor set up. Issue is my PC is not detecting any second display.

I am using a HDMI and have a 1080 Strix GPU. All drivers are up to date etc. I have checked the cables and ports with other devices and it all works fine, it is just when it comes to my PC detecting the laptop, nothing happens.

Any ideas please?

"Confirmed" by whom?

HDMI IN is quite rare in laptops.

Good question. All I know is that both laptops that I use have HDMI slots that do not state in or out. It would appear both are out and so can't receive any signal.

Seems pretty good so far, very minor mouse lag, but that is to be expected with any program which 'streams'. Was simple to install and run too, even I managed it.

I am mostly using it to run chat while streaming games, I dare say I will find more uses for it as I go.
