[SOLVED] Using MBP HDD in a pc to run Mac OS

So at this point my 2011 Macbook Pro is basically dead. The keyboard doesn't work which means the power on button doesn't work, making it a pain to turn on. I don't want to lose the contents because most of my school work is on it. The question is, can I remove the Hardrive and plug it into my desktop and use it exactly the same as if it was on my Macbook, running OSX and everything

No, you can't.

You could install a driver in Windows to allow you to read the data from the disk, but you can't use the OS X programs. Perhaps get the Macbook mended? It's only 5 years old.
