I am porting an application from XP to Windows 7 that uses the internal motherboard CD Audio port as an input to the sound mixer. In XP, this works great, as there is a control for CD Audio in the recording mixer. Under Windows 7's new, very confusing mixer UI, there is no mention of the CD Audio input anywhere that I can find. Does anyone know how to enable and use that port (still available on most modern motherboards) as a sound input in Win 7 ?
