Using my old ide drives on my only-sata mobo

im having a very difficult time figuring out what i need to buy to continue using my 3 ide drives on my new mobo without having to buy new drives. first of all, i dont even know what the back of a sata drive looks like. on my ide's there are one 4pin molex and the 24 pin female. there seem to be all different kinds of adapters out there, including pci-e cards, mini bridges, and simple 2-way plug heads. what do i need guys? least amount of $.

Either a PCI-E card (2 IDE drives per card)
or
A new SATA drive, and copy the stuff off the old, slow, IDE drives.

ok i think ive finally got it now. that is the most cost-effective way. thank you for your help.
