Hi there

I am going to be building a new PC this weekend and I don't really want to buy a new hard drive or SSD. I have both a hard drive and SSD in my old PC and was wondering if I need to wipe both drives? My SSD has my OS installed on it and my hard drive is just full of games, programs, photos, etc. Would I need to wipe just the SSD for a fresh OS install and just plug in my hard drive and be good to go?

Solution
No need to wipe drives, certainly not HDD. Because of new computer, mainly MB, CPU and GPU, you can just do clean install of Windows on SSD and than ad HDD to it. Note that you will have to reinstall programs, even ones installed on HDD.
