[SOLVED] Using pc without old gpu

Hey so i have an old core i5 3570 lying around with a hd 7470 gpu (1gb ddr3 64 bit). My friend told me to use it without gpu to get more performance since the i5 has better integrated graphics. Is it true. Should i remove the gpu

The iGPU in the 3570 gets about 185 in Fire Strike Extreme (https://www.3dmark.com/fs/820125)

The HD 7470 gets about 248 (https://hwbot.org/benchmark/3dmark_...Id=videocard_2171&cores=1#start=0#interval=20)

So no, the iGPU doesn't perform better.

EDIT: Although the HD 7470 link doesn't specify if it's the DDR3 or GDDR5 version. But it's probably the GDDR5 version.

Either way, the only way to figure out which is better is to test them.

They are both very slow.

The 7470 does better by a small amount.
