[SOLVED] Using PD via hub ?

I have a Viewsonic VX2780-2K monitor but it does not have a USB-C port while my laptop does have a USB-C port (supports PD and displayport).

I am planning to buy an additional expansion hub but don't know if I plug from the laptop's USB-C port to the hub's USB-C port and then plug in an HDMI cable from the hub to the monitor, will the monitor be able to supply power to charge my laptop ?
