Using product key on new SSD installation

Hey guys, here's my situation. I bought a custom PC a few months back, and its time to upgrade to an SSD. Thing is, I took it in for a repair (swapped out the motherboard), which involved the guys reloading Windows 7. I gave them my producy key to do it. Can I use my product key to install windows on a new SSD? Or do I have to buy a new copy? This will be a fresh install, and I'll just backup and copy my personal files. Thanks!

For just upgrading from an HDD to an SSD you should have no problem. If you do, Microsoft telephone activation is helpful and you often don't even need to speak to a real person.
