Hi! As i said before, i work with software, and i am trying to learn as much as possible in Hardware.

I have a question, i hope you guys know the answer because i don't want to get electrocuted when i am building a PC. I am learning about "assembling" <- i think that's the name (sry, not my natural language), and i have a wireless anti static wrist strap, but i don't like to wear gloves, and i wear some steel rings, and i wanted to know if i still can attract voltage by using them or something like this. Thanks! =]

By the way, correct me if this is the wrong place, but i didn't find any other suitable category except for Components.

Solution
You should NEVER toy around inside computer (or any other electrical appliance) if it is powered on.
Since we can assume it is powered off, said rings do not matter.

Yes, they conduct electricity, that doesn't exist anymore inside the case.
Yes, they conduct electricity between your finger and whatever the ring touches.
Yes, you wear anti-static wrist strap, you are grounded, computer is grounded, you are both at same electric potential, rings have no impact as condutive material.

Only risk you might face is that you could scratch some components with the ring (especially if we imagine exaggerated spiked skull type rings)

Edit:
That said, if the computer is powered on, both rings and having anti-static wristband are bad idea, both...

But.. that should never happen, toying around inside the case while it is powered on that is.

Yeah, i know that i can't touch in a pc while it is on. That would be ridiculously dumb. Anyway, thanks! I hope you are right...
