Question Using Samsung 970 Evo plus nvme and Samsung Evo 1TB sata ssd

Currently building my first gaming PC and want to us a 970 Evo plus nvme m.2 and a Samsung Evo 860 sata ssd's on a MSI z390 gaming plus motherboard I'm new to this and trying to make sure this will work properly before I continue to buy things. I'm willing to upgrade the mother board so I can use the nvme for my software and the sata for all my games.... PLEASE HELP!!!

Yes, they both will work. Just read the manual and don't plug the Samsung 860 into a sata port that is used by the NVME drive.
