using smartphone to send fax via windows 7

Hi, since my new laptop do not have the old fax modem port, I would like to know if there is a way to send fax via "Windows fax and scanner" program using the smartphone to dial-up the fax number. I tried ti connect via bluetooth, but I didn't manage to configure it.

You would need to create a kind of wiireless network around your phone by setting up a Hotspot in the Settings menu. Then connect the laptop to that network using the password you created then send teh fax out as though the laptop was conn3ected to a regular wireless network.

That said, the laptop should be able to send it through the network you usually connect to in the normal way if the fax is created within the machine?
