Using Sony DAV-DZ850 as Desktop Speakers

Hello , I've been thinking to buy speakers for my computer for some time , i'm using a creative fatality heaphone right now , but i want to have a surrounding voice to enjoy the hell out of my musics so i decided to use my Sony DAV-DZ850KW as the mentioned speakers , but i have no clue how to do it .

my computers mainboard got this sound card :

VIA® VT1828S 8-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC
- Absolute Pitch BD192/24
- DTS Surround Sensation UltraPC
- BD audio layer Content Protection
- Supports Jack-Detection, Multi-streaming, Front Panel Jack-Retasking
- Optical S/PDIF out ports at back I/O



if there is any other information needed tell me

Those speakers need some sort of amp. They will not run directly off the PC sound card.

so is there a way to get this working or no ?

Just the speakers, no.
If you are also using the included player/amp, sure.
PC -> amp -> speakers.

yeah ofc , im gonna use the whole package the dvd player ( which i think has amplifier inside it ) + speakers

OK, what inputs are on the back of the player/amp? If it has an optical input, use that.

Just to the right of the HDMI port, there appears to be an optical IN. Use that.
