I have been using a seagate 500 gb hard disk for 5 years and it has been great. But fearing that i could lose all my precious data as the drive had gotten so old, i bought a new HDD and began using both the hard drives.
But the thing is i was sold a surveillance grade hard drive from the retailer as he had run out of stock thw conventional sata hdd. He convinced me that these surveillance type where better as they are designed to work 24/7 and i bought it.
But recently i have witnessed some lags and freezes in my pc. And even after a fresh install in the new sata sv drive the system still doesnt perform like it should.
I am afraid that i have made a wrong decision by purchasing an Sv HDD.
Is the fault in the survellance drive?
