Question Using two monitors causes app icons not to show in OS?

Hey guys.

I wondered for a bit, why some of my application icons didnt show correctly, But instead showed a blank white icon.

Yesterday i unplugged my 2nd monitor, for cable management, and i noticed while i only had 1 monitor connected, it showed the affected app icons as they suppose to be.
I then plugged my 2nd monitor back In, and bam, app icons were back to being plain white icons.

Anyone know how to fix this??

Can you please check the discussions in this thread?

Looks like the connection sockets and pins need to be cleaned up, and that your display cable shouldn't be too close to the power cable.

Thanks for replying. However this wasn't the case for me. I found a solution elsewhere.

Went into LocalAppData and deleted IconCache file. Then restarted Explorer.exe in task manager. And those icons that were a white plain icon before, is now it's original icon.
