Using USB 3.0 Flash drive as RAM

I've a 8 GB pen drive. 'Flash Drive'- was written on the packet. My pc only have 2gb ram 🙁 So, I have a plan to use it as a RAM.

Nothing is so easy. I've heard it damages flash drive by make it slow after few days of use :O

Then I've a new plan. I'll buy few 2-4 gb pendrive, and use these one by one 😉 I Wish it will work.

My qstn is, how does this tricks effects Flash Drives?
Will it really worth doing?

You can't use a flash drive as RAM. You may be able to use it as an extra buffer for your disk. Save your money and either buy RAM or a new system.

You can use it as a page file essentialy with ready boost if you have windows 7-8 but its far slower then ram

But according to different sites of internet, it was said that if I failed to run any game for the shortage of RAM, I can use flash drive as a ram to run the game.
It seems weird but several sites tells this. It was said by wikihow.com too!

I also want to know how it works, if possible share some links.

Swap memory is what you might be thinking off. A computer will use it's hard drive it is squeezed for RAM, but I don't think you can tell it to use it by default (especially not flash memory)

ReadyBoost is no substitute for RAM. If you have a slow hard drive, then it can improve the SWAP performance.
