Hello guys,
Recently bought a Corsair K70 keyboard and Logitech G700s wireless mouse.
The keyboard has USB pass-through feature so that it comes with 2 USB slots at the end of the cable. I plugged mouse's receiver to the keyboard's USB pass-through port.
I use this keyboard and mouse for both Desktop and Laptop. So, always I have to switch between them. To make things easier, I use 2 USB extension cables for keyboard. I believe that using USB hub is not good since keyboard requires 500mAh of power. So, USB extension cables are always connected to the PC. When I want to connect keyboard and mouse to the laptop, I directly plug the keyboard using two usb ports of the laptop. When I want to switch to PC, I use those two extension cables.
My question is, is it ok to use those USB extensions? Is there any performance loss when using extension cables? cables are 1.5 meters long (each).
Appreciate your answers.
Have a nice day.
