Using Windows 8.1 drivers on Windows 10

Hello,
So im formatting my pc soon and i am downloading the drivers as i have lost my disk. So my mobo is a p8z77-v lx, yes i know its quite old. So i am on windows 10 64 bit and i was wondering if i could use the windows 8.1 drivers. this is because the "utility" drivers have not been updated for windows 10. will this be fine or will it cause compatibility issues?

They should be fine, Asus only released updated drivers if they don't work on Win 10.

the answer is yes, but you will probably realize that windows 10 will have updated drivers of your hardware and should only use the windows 8 drivers on the hardware that is giving you a problem. (no need to break what works)

Ai suite II which comes with usb 3.0 boost and things like that

AI Suite should work. Hard to tell since they havent updated it in 3 years, on your board. there are newer versions but whether they work on your board is a question.

Yeah, the 3 year old version is the latest one as the there is an AI Suite III now and im guessing AI Suite II is discontinued.
