UT2004: extra passengers on vehicle

What's the records of extra passengers on vehicles? Great idea on beginnings
of maps to get as many troops to un-initialized nodes as possible.

Somehow I was in a game where 3 extra were on a Scorpion. I am proud of
them. Of course the only useful weapon while bumpin' up and down on top is
an AVRiL.

Most often i've seen only 2 extra on a Goliath.

With a manta you can get 1 each on the sides(the rotors).

With the Levi, it seems too high to jump on,but it holds 5 busy players.

With my luck, after piling on as many people as possible, the driver
will then proceed to the wrong node. 😛

Which makes sense since the goliath is one of the slowest vehicles. Everyone
else should be piled on a manta or scorpion.

You can actually fit 3 extra players, one on the roof and one on each rotor.

With lowgrav, or by jumping off a higher point of the map like a bridge, you can
get a couple people on top to heal the levi while everyone else fights. If they
stay crouched, they are pretty hard to hit, especially since aimed weapons will
target the levi. Four players in a levi, and four more on top ready to link and
heal it when it gets to about half power gives your team a huge advantage.

I've seen four make it onto a manta, but the last one required some luck
in jumping.

Speaking of which - when you're running to a manta at the beginning of an
onslaught game, STAND ON AN EMPTY FAN. Let the third guy drive - this way
you can quickly deliver three people to the first node. Plus, it makes you
look incredibly cool.

I find myself wishing the avril could do friendly fire when some bonehead
screams off in the manta leaving two people standing right behind them.

Another annoyance - bots who jump into the driver's seat of a lev as soon
as it spawns, and then just stupidly sit there and never drive it anywhere. *

I HATE players that do that...

So hop in and push 1. You did know you could switch seats, didn't you? Works
for all the vehicles that have multiple player, so in a tank you can push 2 to
take out a raptor with the minigun turret.

I don't like to get left behind either. But, if I reach the 'bender
first and I don't see anyone around, I'm damn sure not going to wait
around while some other player visits every weapons locker before
deciding to hop on. I can reach and half-way build the first node
before that happens.

Same here. I honk the horn, and if someone comes running, I wait a few seconds
for them. Or if someone fires at you, back up and let them in. Otherwise take
off and do something useful.

Only when in the driver's seat of a bender, right? All the vehicles have
horns, but in a bender, since the driver has no weapons, pushing the fire
button honks the horn instead. The horn on the lev is good for a laugh.

The idea behind honking just before is so that the enemy player hears it
just as they get crushed - an extra dig at not looking both ways before
blowing up the street. *

What's the default key to honk in other vehicles?

Dunno, I don't have access to the game right now to check. It's in the
miscellaneous keys if I remember right - I have it bound to "H" and
keypad +. *

The semicolon, ";".
