Also back up /usr/local/games/ut2004/Help/UT2004Logo.bmp first, the
"patched" version has the Penguin removed from the splashscreen! Heresy!
And btw to patch just untar the .tar.bz2:
$ tar xvjf ut2004-lnxpatch3204.tar.bz2
then copy the contents of the UT2004-Patch dir to your ut2k4 install:
$ cp -r UT2004-Patch/* /usr/local/games/ut2004
