Question UW4K 144Hz (175Hz) Monitor is it worth it?

I have recently upgraded my rig: i910900, RTX3080, 32GB ram, SSD and to complete the setup I wanted a monitor - 38" 3840*1600 (https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-38GL950G-B-gaming-monitor). It's refresh rate is 144Hz (175Hz OC).
I have just started playing Cyberpunk 2077 and on maximum settings on 1920x1080 (HD monitor) the GPU has a problem of keeping steady 60FPS.
Now for the question: is it worth spending £1500 on a 144Hz monitor even thou my GPU is struggling to keep steady 60FPS on 1080p ultra settings, or is 38" 3840*1600 60/75Hz monitor for £750 enough, since the beast from the green team (RTX3080)can't pull out more than 60FPS on 1080p.

I want a curved monitor. And the question is basically about refresh rate; cause if 3080 will not pull out more than 60fps on3940x1600 ultra settings in games, then why would I need a 144Hz monitor....

well the answer depends on the games you are playing .. some games will run at lower than 60 fps maxed out and some will be even more than 60 fps .. also you dont "have" to play on ultra setting all the time if you feel you want more fps just lower it .
