V-Sync and Input Lag

I have heard that v-sync causes input lag. If I am consistently getting more than 60fps in game will the input lag while using v-sync lessen?

Input lag and vsync do tend to go hand in hand. Triple buffering to reduce the hit IF one falls under the refresh rate adds to this.

Vsync does prevent screen tearing, but as you mention introduces some input delay and can cause some skipping at times.

Give it a try and see if it bothers you or not.

No it will not cause less input lag, because vsync locks the framerate to your monitors refresh rate.
