Hi
I have a Samsung SA700 120Hz monitor however, when I play any game (such as Battlefield 3), V- Sync seems to cap my FPS at 60 instead of 120. Can anyone tell me why this is happening? Even when I select Adaptive V- Sync, my FPS is still capped at 60. However, when V-Sync is disabled, my FPS jumps back up to over 120, which is causing tears in game play.
My specs are:
CPU: i7- 3770K
GPU: GTX 690
Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth Z77
Power Supply: 1350 Watts
RAM: 16GB
