When I play my games I never needed to have v-sync on, all my games were locked at 60fps, now it's going over 60fps and screen tearing is occurring which is annoying and I don't know what to do.

You can either set it game by game, or it can be set system-wide in the Nvidia control panel (and, I assume in AMD's equivalent).

Which GPU do you have? I assume a graphics driver update turned it off. For Nvidia it's in their control panel, under "manage 3d settings" IIRC.

Nah I don't have a discrete card, It was a driver update for my intel integrated graphics, it had some auto vsync function, and I didn't need to turn on vsync in any of my games, it was better than using the vsync function in the game, but since i've updated the drivers, it stopped and I was mad, I used to get better performance.
