v17 nitro or asus gl551?

Hi, I want to buy a budget gaming laptop for study, some gaming and may be I add one monitor for trading stocks.

But I can't decide what to buy:
Acer v17 nitro for 1100$

the main difference between them is acer has bigger IPS screen and more GPU memory(4gb vs 2 gb) but it has bad maintenace. What is better to buy?

It will depend on the types of games you play and the settings. If you play low to med, then the asus is good for you as 2 gigs of vram is enough for most games. If you plan on playing on high or ultra, then the acer.

Second the acer does have the advantage of size which is important in gaming as cooling can be a problem in laptops due to heating issues. The acer has had good reviews but I assume the asus is good as they are known for their cooling.

However, on of the deciders is miniDisplayPort, as I want to connect 2 or 3 monitors to work with graphs. Is 2 gb enough for that?

I don't know as I never use external monitors sorry. If anyone does know, please could you share you insights with us.
