Vaio laptop startup problem

Hello,
I was on my Sony Vaio laptop and it was running slow so I got angry and slammed my fist down on the keyboard once or twice and now when I try turning it on the laptop would SOUND like its turning on but the screen would stay black then everything would suddenly turn off. Help please?
