I have been looking for 2 x 4GB memory sticks for my Sony VAIO VPCCW13FB - system specs here. That said, I would like inputs from experienced users if the following RAM memory sticks are compatible with my notebook:

01. Corsair Vengeance

02. Hynix/Samsung

Likely not. The speeds are higher than normal.
Go to the corsair or any other web site and access their ram upgrade app. Enter your laptop model number.
You should get a list of supported ram kits.
It will likely be DDR3 PC3-12800 1.35v
