Question Valorant freezes and laptop needs to be force restarted ?

When I play Valorant on my laptop, the game freezes and it needs to be force restarted using the power button. After it happens, the game runs normally without any freezing. It always happens when I play the game for the first time in the day. It also happens in any game mode, though it sometimes happens during the second match of the day, not the first. The game also doesn't use that much of the GPU even though it could, so my laptop never overheats. CPU never goes above 85, though spikes, and GPU does the same.

You might want to see if the laptop is pending any BIOS updates, then see if your OS and drivers are pending any updates as well. I'd try and use DDU to remove all GPU drivers, then manually install the latest GPU driver off of AMD's support site in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.
