My current ram is 2 1GB DDR2 800 Geil Value Series in my Q6600 rig..

How much performance can I gain from buying a 2 1GB DDR800 Crucial Ballistix...????

How much performance gain @ stock & also @ OCing...???

By the way, the Crucial Ballistix was offered to me a low price from my friend, it's his extra ram w/c he has never used...

From New Ram? 0.1%
From OCing? 15-25%

If it's a B3 CPU, you should be able to OC to about 3.2Ghz
If its a G0 CPU, you should be able to OC to about 3.6Ghz.

This is a 800Mhz (33%) or 1200Mhz(50%) OC.

Actual performance will not increase linearly so real world it may be 15-25% increase.

Of course depending on your GPU, you may have other bottlenecks that limit you.

Better ram will do very very little in your case.
