Vamp 1.10 has been released at http://home.insightbb.com/~ebina1/vtes/
with support for KMW. Other significant changes are the addition of an
inventory tab and a Spanish localization (translation -- and impetus
for localization work -- courtesy of Christian Martin).

Some information on how to provide additional Vamp translations is on
the web site, if anyone would like to help localize it for other
languages. (Note that localization refers to the interface, not the
card text.)

Vamp gets all the data it works with directly from White Wolf's
official card text, without an intermediary database that needs to be
maintained. It supports adding additional cards (i.e. fan-generated
material) and errataing cards with your own errata by using a simple
override text file. It uses regular expressions for powerful filtering
options. It provides links to images of cards where available and the
Monger website. It can print deck listings with pretty card type, clan,
and discipline icons.

Comments, complaints, requests for enhancements all welcomed. Or feel
free to keep using ARDB 🙂

I'm still using Vamp. :) Still haven't tried loading it on an AIX
machine, but one of these days when I get a little more free time.

I do have a question though. There used to be a recommendation for a
book on regular expressions on the website, but it appears to have
moved/disappeared. I'm looking at purchasing a book or two on the
subject, and would be interested in hearing your recommendations.

Yes, Vamp's minimum window size is disappointingly large :-/ I need to
look into ways to shrink the interface; right now, as small as it gets
is as small as it gets. Sorry about that! (It is something I tend not
to notice in 1600x1200.)

Xian, there is a regular expressions recommendation in Vamp itself. The
book I recommend is Friedl's "Mastering Regular Expressions", although
obviously you don't need to know that much for Vamp's purposes. Short
summaries are available all over the web, such as at:
