You seem to have certain misconceptions.

WoD 2 is not a continuation of WoD 1. WoD 2 is... hmm. You know how
Hollywood will occasionally remake a movie, and it'll be completely
different but based on the same concept? Like how there are tons of
different Mummy movies and the characters in them are all different and
the only thing they really have in common is that they're all about
ancient Egypt somehow? (Except the ones that are about Incan mummies.)

WoD 2 will be like that. In WoD 2, WoD 1 will never have happened at
all -- it'll be a new take on "The real world, plus monsters."

We don't know if there will be clans at all. Even if there are, they
won't be the same clans we've seen before.

(Also, you really don't need to use multiple question marks. ?? means
the same thing as ?, but is more annoying to read.)

Tremere Antitribu are confirmed for WoD 2.0, as are the True Brujah,
True Gangrel, and True Caitiff.

I heared Ventrue & Gangrel will be in. Brujah will
be probably out to, because of the Gangrel.

Actually, the /Exalted Player's Guide/ reveals a major metaplot secret
in /Exalted/: There are no Abyssal Exalted. At ALL. It is all a sham
made up by Solars who need a good excuse to shop at Hot Topic.

well, i knew it from the tidbits they inserted in exalted: the
sidereals.
anyway, it is true that some solars (expecially ugly ones) are
actually researching a way of becaming abyssals, just to became more
beautiful and to drink blood (drinking blood is really good,
expecially if you have something like "chianti-evoking gesture" at
your disposal to enjoy it fully 😀

I'm still hoping that they REALLY mix things up for the new WoD.

ie.

Vampires "Monsters we are lest things even worse destroy all that we have
ever cared for."

Vampires are those whose souls have been to the other side and who have seen
the blasphemies that exist there, constantly seeking to suborn our own world
to their own horrid will. Returned to a world that they can no longer fully
be a part of, vampires are forced to feed off of the very humans whom they
must protect from horrid things beyond mortal conception (a wretched
existence, but infinitely better than the fate of those captured and
enslaved by their supernatural adversaries).

Because of their time soaking up blasphemous energies in a realm of
indescribable monstrosity, all vampires are repelled by religious symbols
(but don't believe that thing about bursting into flame when exposed to
sunlight; although daylight robs them of their strength it will not kill
them).

Werewolves "Cursed to destroy."

Unwitting pawns of the twisted powers from beyond, these pathetic wretches
constantly battle against the malefic disease which threatens to reduce them
to near-mindless rabid beasts. Gathering in hidden societies in futile
attempts to retain their human nature (or reveling in their monstrosity),
they spend their existence battling themselves, each other and the vampire
vigilantes who decry them as "tools of the earth-killers."

Contrary to popular conception, silver has no special effect on werewolves
(although wolfsbane is HIGHLY toxic to them).

Or maybe they could get *really* crazy, and declare that while the
world is indeed on an inevitable downward spiral to apocalyptic ruin,
the player characters actually have a chance to *change* that, rather
than simply working to ensure that their own eventual demises are as
stylishly tragic as possible. 😉

You are insufficiently gothy. You are not allowed to play White Wolf
games any more!

Damn trendoids, playing /Vampire/ just because it's COOL now... HAH! I
was playing /Vampire/ when it still meant being beaten by jocks after
school. Now please excuse me, there is a Bauhaus set scheduled tonight
at my favorite club, "Tres Nihilistic."

Aw, you're no fun - you're shoot back Exalted *is* set in the World of
Darkness, employing a complicated and poorly-thought-out analogy between
Abyssals and vampires, sparking a snarky flamewar that goes on for days.

Well, Exalted is set in the past of the WoD that my Mage game of a few
years back was run in, and even featured one artifact/wonder/creature
that appeared in said Mage game (the Elemental Dragon of Fire appeared
in the Mage game, too, but that was before I'd heard of Exalted and have
no recollection as to why I chose that).

So, everyone's game should be like mine.
