Vapor-X R9 280X 3G with a Seasonic s12ii 520w

the Vapor-X R9 280X 3G requires a 2x 8-pin?

Im not sure if my PSU have a dual 8-pin connector

The recommended PSU for that card is 750 watts. It ships with 6 to 8 pin adapters if you need them. No way I would try to run it on your current PSU, though.

Adapters aren't a good idea , get a proper PSU to run the card.

Physically they will work. Would I use them with that power supply? No. That card can draw 475 watts under load by itself. That doesn't leave much for the rest of your system wouldn't you say?

As of now im quite confused 🙁

Ive made a lot of research before buying the card and most of the people on this forum says i can run the card with my current PSU. They said the total full load of the power consumption would be around 450-475W
