Various games freezing and Crashing

Hi, I am having issues with various games on my computer. Hearthstone, Left for dead 2, CSGO and ocassionally life is strange all cause the entire computer to freeze - whereby even the mouse moving across the screen lags. I have ruled out PSU issues because I play games like fallout 4, tomb raider and battlefield 4 without theses issues. My internet disconnects when this happens and also I am using DX12. Please let me know if you can help me.

specs are:
intel i5 4460
8GB DDR3
GTX 745 4GB

What are your temperatures like?

currently don't go much above 30 degrees celcius. I did the Heaven Benchmark a while ago and it would stop just below degrees for the GPU, the Cpu still remained around 30.

What cooler do you have? 30C sounds unrealistically low. What software are you using? And what about GPU temps?

I recommend HWMonitor if you don't already use it.

you are right, both average at 40. I am not doing anything intense right now.

Thanks. I have used both and they seem to be consistent with eachother. I have been messing around in fallout 4, My cpu is now 50 and my gpu is now 60 but it has not been that long. Any other suggestions. I have also tried a clean install of windows 10 and this issue has happened in 10 and 8 for me.

PSU make and model?

this is a version of the acer predator G3-605. but it just has the manufacturer's PSU which is 500W.
