Various instant shutdowns into restart, sometimes repeated on/off power loop

After new PSU and new motherboard I am still having trouble, however the original problem that this thread is based on no longer happens. I am waiting for another replacement motherboard at this time.

Status: Solved original problem, I may make another thread with the new issues if I cannot fix them soon

Hi all, to keep it somewhat short

My problem is that while using my pc it will shutdown anywhere from 1 minute - over 5 hours of usage. Sometimes it will restart and work again, sometimes it will get stuck in the restart on/off loop. This is not completely random, it seems to be related to GPU power/usage from my observations, as playing games will often cause it to shutdown within 10 minutes and the pc can usually last several hours on desktop apps/videos.
No overheating as the max temps for both CPU and GPU at full load are below 65.

PC specs

i7 3770
asrock z77e itx
2x4 ddr3 corsair
coolermaster 600w
gtx 1060
windows 10 pro

^nothing is overclocked

What i have already tried:

-reseating RAM
-ran memtest86 on RAM (no errors)
-clear cmos, reseat cmos battery
-using a spare PSU (625w)
-changing several nvidia driver versions

None of these had any lasting effect. When i changed the PSU however my pc functioned well for 2 solid days doing any task so i was hoping it was fixed by then. But it is not.

EDIT: using a spare video card (gtx 660)
Trying to use my old card for the second time seems to be working in all applications with no shutdowns (about 1 whole month). After trying the 1060 once more the same error occurred, so I changed back to the 660 again and still the same error again. So it is most likely some problem with the pcie slot or how the board is handling that function (instability as it did work correctly for 1 month??) as the problem occurs when anything is plugged to the slot.

---------------------
Old part of post

It seems to me that the problem could be with the pci-e slot (there is only 1) or something else on the motherboard. The first boot of each day is when it will work for the longest time. When i turn off the PSU power switch and leave it off for 30+ mins, the pc will run for a lot longer the next time i switch it on.

Today i also noticed in the device manager (only after uninstalling nvidia drivers) that the Xeon E3-1200 PCIe root port 0151 was not functioning as it would not recognise the video card was plugged in, even though the fans were on and it was providing the current display for the monitor (with basic driver). I installed the latest drivers from the asrock website and that fixed the pcie port error allowing me to install the nvidia drivers again.

Solution
For a psu depending on what you want to spend and quality,
https://au.pcpartpicker.com/products/compare/3hkwrH,Ky4NnQ,2tckcf/
this is via the pcpartpicker, maybe more options are available via the shop you buy.
If you don't have alot of hdd's/storage and all is close together could you also use the 450watt of the latest CXM series as linked here. This one has only one sata cable with four connectors. It's about $85.

PSU models I am using are below if that helps

CoolerMaster RS-600-PCAR-E3
CoolerMaster RS-625-PCAR-D3

I've had no trouble with either of them before and I don't think I have other ones to test with.

Bios was not the latest but now it is (1.80 before, now 1.90)

I will test again tomorrow and see if anything has changed

I hope that the bios update did the trick, but stiil am wary when looking at both those psu's which aren't great quality and since the second made it run for 2 days again without hiccups is it still a possible fault there.
Got no friend from which you can lend a psu? Or maybe a local shop that can test the psu, shouldnt' be much work and cost very much.

Thanks for the responses, I'm really not sure what to make of the situation still because apart from what you have mentioned there, the computer was working correctly for almost a full month (after this problem first occurred) as I wrote above in the main post. I've also had no trouble with either of the PSUs in the past so I think that its unlikely that both would fail at the same time during this testing. Anyway I decided to buy another motherboard already which is coming soon so I hope that will fix the problem, if not then at least I can eliminate that possibility of the motherboard being faulty.

Mainly because I tried 2 different video cards and 2 different PSUs. And at one stage the problem didn't happen at all for 1 month while i had the gtx660 in the computer. So I just thought it more likely to be the motherboard.

Anyway, new motherboard came in and appears to be dead on arrival as I've already tried many hardware configurations and there is no power at all and the fans never spin. Put all the components back into my old board and now everything is fine again except with the onboard gpu chip and no actual video card.

What PSU would you suggest I buy since you said mine were of a lower quality? I am in australia.
