Various nVidia Graphics Drivers throwing Blue Screen after RAM upgrade

Hi all. Let me open by thanking the good people of this community for solving many a problem and answering many of my questions before today without me ever having to post here once. Alas, the time has come that I can't seem to find someone else who has a problem similar to mine - here we go.

My desktop is a prebuilt HP Pavilion from 2009. I can't remember the specific model number, but I'll do my best to dig up the specifics if anyone needs them. I've upgraded my graphics card three times in this rig, but only two days ago did I bother to add more RAM.

I ordered four sticks of 4GB DDR2 6400U Samsung RAM, thinking that my motherboard supports 16GB, when in reality, it apparently only supports 8GB. That's all well and good, my fiance's computer could use a RAM upgrade as well - and so it got it. What I find strange, however, is that after putting the RAM in both of our computers, hers has worked fine, while mine has thrown multiple Blue Screens, all related to one of nVidia's graphics drivers/related files.

I currently run a GeForce 750 Ti, and downloaded the latest drivers for it last night hoping that might solve the issue, but I woke up today with another blue screen. I haven't had any trouble with this card before upgrading the RAM, and since it and the processor are virtually the only differences between mine and my fiance's computer, I believe there must be some kind of problem originating from the card or its drivers.

Has anyone ever had or heard of similar issues with nVidia's drivers acting up after a RAM upgrade? I've flashed my BIOS, but otherwise have not reconfigured anything aside from the driver update. I haven't plugged my old RAM back in yet to test if that solves the errors since there doesn't seem to be an issue with the RAM - the bios recognizes it, Microsoft's Memory Diagnostic doesn't detect problems, same voltage etc as my old RAM. I will say though, the difference between 6GB and 8GB doesn't seem noticeable enough for me to want to put up with this kind of heartache for it, so if the best solution does turn out to be put the old RAM back in, I'll just settle with it until I get a reasonable income and can just upgrade the rig itself.

Stats I can remember off the top of my head, if anyone needs them:

Motherboard: PEGATRON Violet
Processor: AMD Phenom x4 Quad Core 2.20GHz
OS: Windows 7 Professional 64bit Service Pack 1
Graphics: nVidia GeForce 750Ti 2GB GDDR5

(Because I mentioned that it does work in my fiance's computer, I'll post the same stats for her build)
Motherboard: PEGATRON Violet
Processor: AMD Phenom 8450 Triple-Core 2.10GHz
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
Graphics: nVidia GeForce GT620 2GB GDDR3
