The manufacturer is a company located in mainland China. The ssd is also known by several other brand names but the model name is almost always V800. The ssd is sold by 3rd party vendors located in various Asian countries and they ship worldwide. The ssd is listed by Amazon UK and Amazon Australia but they are actually being shipped by the 3rd party vendors in Asia.

The company also manufacturers DDR memory which is available at newegg in the USA. However, the actual seller is Corn Electronics, a 3rd party vendor in China.

USAFRet: When I saw the specs for the first time I thought it was an old 64GB, SATA 1.0 ssd model from 10 years ago.

had to comment this one
iv'e got a v800 350gb vasecky
its read write speed is closer to 300mbs
my board only supports sata 2 so i'm not getting the best out of it.
a friend of mine has the same drive on sata 3 he gets about 550mbs
guy who posted earlier must have slow hardware cos those speeds were crap.
only had it a short while so i'll post something in a few months and update everyone on its reliability.
