Hello there.

I've got a problem when it comes to my CPU and i was looking for a hand when it comes to overclocks, My first time doing one you see.

(i7 2600k, 4.5GHz @1.360V)
It runs stable however under full load and under (50`c) it will drop to (1.332V) and then come back up to the voltage i set after i quit the benchmark or stress test/game

I don't have any LLC options set as i have no idea what they do and all the C states ect have been turned off including the thermal ones.

Perhaps it needs some more Voltage or LLC, I have no idea :p?

Solution
Yes, this issue is fixed by increasing the LLC.

What mobo do you have?

Are you SURE you need that much voltage to hit 4.5GHz on your chip?

Hi there, i have a Gigabyte Z68MX-UD2H-B3

Thanks for the reply, i think ive figured it out though as from what ive heard the voltage drops slightly during load and then increases to normal as a safety thing, if i put any LLC on it jumps all the way up to 1.420V constantly

I dropped to 4.4GHz and everything looks fine now, it only drops by 8-10 now and runs stable.

VID stays at 1.381 and 1.420 was the Vcore with any LLC on.
