Vcore issue

Hi everyone,

I have the Crosshair Formula IV mobo with Phenom X6 1055T CPU.

I have overclocked the CPU to 3.5GHz and used Offset setting to adjust the cvore (I like to have CnC and C1E enabled so I do not use Manual voltage).

So I have set the offset to -0.0625 and have ~1.37 vcore in BIOS. With this voltage the CPU when idle is at ~1.16V and load at ~1.37-1.38V according to every monitoring software I've tried.

The issue is, that since I have updated the mobo BIOS from 1102 to 2002 the vcore gets back to default values of 1.22V idle and 1.45V load in Windows. But when I go to BIOS to have a look what is going on, I can see that my saved setting are still there. After reboot I get what I want - 1.16/1.38V. BUT after a while I have a look at it again and see that the vcore went up to 1.22/1.45 again for no reason.

Can anyone tell me what the F is going on? Thanks

ps. what would be the difference in power consumption when comparing 1.16/1.38 vs 1.22/1.45 vcore at 3.5GHz?

So I just figured out when it happens. It seems that the CPU voltage goes back go default values after I wake up the PC from sleep. Since I use mu computer basically all the time I'm awake, I usually just use the Sleep function instead of shutting it down.

Anyways, before putting it to sleep my voltages were 1.16/1.38 and now I woke it up and had a look at stats and it says 1.22/1.45V.

Anyone know how to fix this problem?
