Very nice find, I've been booting 5 years or so for games stuff and never
seen anything Vectrex related.
I've found absolutely loads of other stuff but never Vectrex... I think it
stands out as something that 'looks collectable' so it doesn't end up on the
boot tables.
My Vectrex collection came almost in one go, about 4 years ago I put an ad
in the paper in Reading... got a few calls including a guy who was about 40
and who had bought everything as new when he was 20. He had the console,
2nd controller boxed, all the UK games.
He also said "in the end when it wasn't in the shops anymore I imported
these..." *holds up boxed lightpen and both extra lightpen games*. All the
games were boxed complete, the Vectrex itself was the only thing not boxed.
Paid 120 quid which was not a bad deal.
I've since added all the home-brew games, a multi-cart, original carts of
Pole Position, Polar Rescue, Star Castle and the 3D carts.
Should shortly receive the 3D shutter glasses and adapter... not a bad
collection. :¬)
