Vega 56, 590, or stand pat?

I currently have a 480 8GB, 4690k overclock 4.4, 8GB ram, 2 SSD's 2 HDD's 144htz Freesync monitor (so want and have to stick to AMD), 750 PSU, and dual boot Windows 10 and Ubuntu 18.10 for now. I am rebuilding it in March 2019. 2600X, 16GB ram, 850 PSU, (was thinking vega 56 or Navi) same drive config. I mostly play Overwatch, Wow, TF2, CS:GO, building for The Division 2, and misc other games. My question is would I get a hell of a performance difference out of a 590 or ref 56? Will the 590 serve me well till 2020? I can put an aftermarket cooler for the 5, will it bottleneck my current cpu in any of those games? I can pull the trigger on either one right now....Pull it or wait?

The 590 is just a clockspeed bump for your 480. It is like a 10% bump in performance. I would at a minimum go with the Vega 56. It will run nicely with your 1440p monitor.

The 590 is about 10% and the Vega 56 will be more than 30% improvement over the 480.
