Question Vega 56 nano PCB thermal pad

Hello, tomorrow i will get a sapphire Vega 56 pulse and i'm figuring how to optimize overvall temperature, expecially VRM one.
A guy suggested me to buy thermal pads, so i bought some with 3mm thinkness. I want to be sure to know the best spot where to apply then, he said in the rear card, betweet PCB and card inself for make the backplate a proper cooler. Is this the correct for your experience? If yes, where exatly to place em are more useful? I'll upload some pics of the nude card founded on web

In order: front VGA, rear VGA, rear VGA with the suggested position where to put thermal pad

When you disaasemble the card you will see the old/original thermal pads where they are.
But I really dont know why you would need to change then?

I want to add some, there no thermal pad rear the VGA, and want to add 2 more upper phase 1 and 2

You could use those generic heatsink with sticking thermal pads.
