Question Vega 64 GPU Overclock (States)

I am using Global Wattman.

When overclocking, should I overclock all 7 states or only states 6 and 7?

Right now, I have all 7 states overclocked by 10MHz from their stock frequencies.

I have also undervolted the GPU. For states 1-7, respectively, my voltages are set to 800, 850, 900, 950, 1000, 1050, and 1100.

Please advise.

It seems that only states 6 and 7 are being overclocked by overclockers. My testing also shows that during heavy gaming these are the two states that are used the most.

Can someone confirm this?

After several hours of tweaking, I undervolted both the GPU and memory and overclocked just the memory. I did not bother overclocking the GPU because it was very sensitive to crashing and did not provide significant gains in performance.

My GPU voltages for states 1-7 respectively are as follows: 800, 850, 900, 950, 1000, 1050, and 1100mV. I did not touch the frequencies.

My memory voltage is set to 975mV. I also overclocked the frequency from 945 stock to 1075MHz.

In regards to my fan curve, I set it at 12% from 0 C to 50 C, then increased it linearly to 85% at 75 C.

Making all of the above adjustments gave me the following great results:

In the Heaven Benchmark in windowed mode at 1600x900 resolution: my average FPS increased by 9% from stock; my max GPU temperature went down from 85 C to 72 C; and my max hot spot temperature went down from 99 C to 92 C.

In Battlefield V at ultra settings at 1080p: my average FPS increased by 11% from stock, and my max memory temperature went down from 90 C to 80 C.

I am very pleased!

, theres alot of ppl sharing their settings .
I'm using OverdriNTool because on wattamn you cant put this vallues. Very happy with it. You could save your profile and try some of these settings or others that could work and see what you like/work better for you .

p6 at 1537 1010mv
p7 at 1705 1065mv
And for the memory i puted 1100 at 970mv
