[SOLVED] Vega 64 vs GTX 1070 ti

Ok, I’m looking to upgrade my graphics card, here is my systems specs

PSU: EVGA SuperNova 750W G2
CPU: 8700k
MOBO: Asus Maximus X Hero
Ram: 16 GB Trident Z RGB
GPU: Gtx 1060

So my only concern with the Vega 64 is that I seen a lot of people worried about the power concumption, I want to make sure that my PSU can handle it, also I was looking at the Vega 64 because a lot of benchmarks Ive seen said the vega 64 is better preformance for gaming, and is about $40-$60 cheaper (USD)

So should I be fine with a vega 64 or go with the gtx 1070 ti?

That PSU is far more than enough for your system with Vega 64. Where are you finding a Vega 64 card cheaper than a 1070 ti? That shouldn't be the case and isn't from what I can find.

Huh, I would've guessed the same, but, lo and behold, even in the US, only a single 1070Ti model is less expensive than the Vega 64.

EDIT: weirdly, with the exception of one Vega 56 model at $333, there are two Vega 64 models available cheaper than the second cheapest Vega 56.

On newegg the vega 64 is only 399, while the gtx 1070 ti is 439
