Question Vegas 16 corrupts all audio in every other app

I have Vegas 16 installed on my PC, and I have noticed a weird bug whenever I launch it.

Let's say I have a song playing on my PC using Windows Media Player. If I launch Vegas, Windows Media Player will give me an error saying that it can't play the file.
I also have Nvidia's Shadowplay, and before I launch Vegas, my audio is recorded too. But if I launch Vegas, the audio simply stops being recorded in Shadowplay unless I restart it.

Is there a way to fix this bug? Thanks.
