Hi

I currently have a WD Black 1TB which has OS, games, recordings and rendered files. I have an older computer which has a WD Green 1TB which I could put into my PC. Would the best use of the drives to have everything on the Black and render to the Green? I use Sony Vegas Pro 13.

Thanks

Hey there, avidday7!

You can definitely put the WD Green in your current system and ease up on the WD Black. However, you should keep in mind that the WD Green is designed mainly to be used as a secondary storage for your files. I'm afraid you won't be able to edit from it using such demanding apps like Vegas Pro and games. What you can render to the Green is your massive files and storage.
So basically what dovah-chan already mentioned and I cannot disagree with his statement. :)

If you want to check out both of your drives' features and purposes, I suggest you check out these links:

Hope this was helpful! :)...
