[SOLVED] Veracrypt won't allow files bigger than 4GB ?

hi
i've encrypted a whole 2 tb external HDD with Veracrypt.
while doing so i did check "allow files bigger than 4gb".

The problem is that in reality i can't copy big files like system images that are more than 4 gb.

Do you know how to solve it or why it happens ?

i've just downloaded the latest vestion of veracrypt and tried to encrypt it again.
i'm using an updated windows 11.
if i will run into issues i will try to see how do i upload my system specs
it's cool that they have forums. i will check that if needed.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Appears that there have been some revisions. Check your version and either reinstall or update as applicable.

Failing that then research Veracrypt's Forums.

What file system are you using? If that is fat32 then there is a file size limitation, I believe that's the case here.
