Question Verifying DMI Pool Data.._ Help Please!

I bought a new 64-bit CPU to replace my old 32-bit CPU in my desktop and new, when I try to boot it up, it says,"Verifying DMI Pool Data..."
I think it is because of the hardware change or something. I need some help FAST please!

Reset the cmos and try booting again. What processor did you upgrade to and from what?

Did you verify socket and BIOS support before installing the new chip ? If you did then try resetting the BIOS to defaults and reboot.

If you did not then remove the new cpu and put the old one back in to see if it works...if it works with the old chip you either have a conflict with the socket or BIOS or the new chip might be defective.
