Hey guys! A couple of weeks ago, I got myself a 1440p monitor and it was working fine until today. I was watching a video on youtube when a blue line randomly appeared. It wouldn't go away after I tried restarting the pc several times, removing the DP cable and plugging it back in didn't work either. I tried using my old monitor which was plugged into my gpu's hdmi port, and it worked fine. I tried using an hdmi cable with my 1440p monitor, but the blue line was still there. I shut my pc of again, and after awhile, the blue line disappeared, then when I opened chrome, it reappared again, and then after awhile, it disappeared again. Any ideas as to what's going on and if there's a way to fix the problem?

I would ask you to make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard. Then uninstall and reinstall your GPU drivers with the latest off your makers support site. On that note, mind sharing your specs like so:

apologies, i was so distraught when that blue line popped out that i panicked, completely forgot to include these details

okay, i'll do that for now. just so annoying cause i got this monitor literally just 2 weeks ago, and im pretty sure it never got hit physically so i have no idea what could be causing that damn blue line
