Vertical blue pixel line in screen, ACER GD245HQ

Hello,

I have recently encountered a problem with my screen when using it with the computer on.
After about an hour of gaming / surfing the web, or basically doing anything else a vertical blue line of 1 pixel wide appears in my screen, it has nothing to do with the cable and/ or graphics card because when i pull out the display cable the blue line is still there.
When i leave my computer off for about an hour the line is gone and will reappear when the computer is being used for a little while.
so do any of you maybe know what this issue is and if i can fix it in any way?

You did a good job isolating the problem. Issue is with the monitor not with the desktop. I would recommend you to send it for repair for this is a technical issue
