Vertical Lines for any graphics card I use

I had an MSI R9 390 and it started to display green vertical lines. I tried using the GPU on another desktop and the same issue occurred so I RMA'd the GPU and got a refurbished one. When I installed it into my computer the same issue occurred. Could it be my PSU frying my card? My computer can run without the graphics card just fine

Yes I have tried both monitor and hdmi cables

if you still have the same problem after the RMA they either sent you the same card back with nothing done to it or the refurbished card they sent you is defective too. easy way to find out is to remove the GPU and hook it up using the integrated graphics

I am starting to think they just sent me back another defective card but also is it possible the PSU could be frying my graphics card but not affecting my motherboard or any other components?

it can depending on the quality of the PSU or if it is strong enough to run that GPU even though you have been running it fine for a year.. normally if it was an issue with a weak PSU it would just power off or reboot

Okay then I will wait for the second RMA'd graphics card to come in and see if the results are different

As charisma said, test with integrated garphics first. If your motherboard doesn't support outputs for the IGP, pick up a cheap ($10-20) card from frys/tiger/microcenter/local parts store.
