Hi,

A relative of mine currently works with two vertical monitors because they work with longer form documents often. They're are running into the problem with certain programs/websites not displaying full info because they're constrained by the width. Is there a solution for a larger style monitor that has the height of a vertical and width of a horizontal monitor? I've read that just using a Tv monitor wouldn't work because it wouldn't have the clarity necessary for text. Thoughts?

Solution
4:3 aspect ratio is the closest to square you'll find. But even those are quite rare and outdated these days.

What is the resolution of the vertical monitor?

A vertical 2560x1440 monitor would closely match the width pixels (1920 pixels) of a standard 1080p monitor.
1440 vs 1920 pixels wide.

A 4k monitor would exceed 1080 pixels wide when oriented vertical.
